The Konstmuseet Skövde is a modern art museum located in the heart of Skövde and forms part of the Kulturhuset. It features rotating exhibitions of Swedish and international contemporary art, spanning a variety of media such as painting, sculpture, photography, and installation. The museum places particular emphasis on making art accessible to all age groups and offers a diverse programme of tours, workshops, and events. Visitors can discover and experience both classical and innovative forms of artistic expression.
A distinctive feature of the museum is its residency programme, which provides artists with the opportunity to work temporarily in Skövde and develop their projects on site. This often results in new, experimental works that feed directly into the museum’s exhibitions. The programme encourages creative exchange between artists, the local community, and visitors.
From 7 September to 31 October 2026, nine artists from EULENGASSE will realise the residency project entitled »Prints of Time« at the Konstmuseet. Visitors will have the chance to witness the creative process live and follow the development of new works directly within the museum.
